January 30th or March 6th Sweatshirt Jacket Saturday 10am-4pm $22 Toby Toby's popular jacket has been requested again…so if you haven't made this stylish jacket yet here is your last chance! Works great with a jelly roll.

January 31st or Feb 28th or March 28th Machine Quilting Sundays 1pm-4pm $35 (includes supplies) Sally Learn the basics for getting started quilting your own projects. We will cover supplies, marking and pinning, stitching in the ditch, an free motion quilting….it's not as difficult as you think! We will make a baby quilt during this class.

February 1st English paper piecing Monday 6:30pm-9pm $15 Darlene This seasonal wall hanging uses the pre-cut papers to construct this project. Here's your chance to get next years Christmas season project done early!

February 15th or March 4th 60 Degree Tablerunner 6:30-9pm $15 Darlene This runner uses a stripe or border fabric to make a quick easy project. Stop to see samples.

February 19th & 26th Professional Tote 2 Friday nights 5pm-9pm $35 Toby This large tote is great for travel or large items including a laptop! This bag is labor intensive, but Toby will help to simplify the process. You need to do homework (fusing batting to pieces) and then the 2 nights will be enough to get this project almost done!

February 22nd Foundation Paper Piecing Monday 6:30-9pm $15 Lynn Learn the basics of foundation piecing to make small quilts with accurate points and pieces.

March 20th Blue Moon Saturday 10am-4pm $22 Lynn This beautiful quilt is made with blue and white batiks. This is a great quilt for beginners as well as fun for the more advanced quilter. Kits available.

March 27th Mini-Miranda Saturday 10am-4pm $22 Lynn Our bag lady will show you how to construct this popular Lazy Girl Designs smaller version of the Miranda bag. Kits available.

April 3rd or 24th 10-4 or Sunday April 11th 12-5 Cuddle Teddy Chenille Baby Quilt free! Sally This easy baby quilt is cute, quick and soft! Kits available.

This class starts with the basics of rotary cutting, strip piecing, and quilt top construction. We make a 54"x 66" lap quilt. This class is for people with no quilting experience. We have 20% off the fabric and supplies for this class to get you started right!

Beginner Borders & Bindings $15 (includes a small quilt that you will put the binding on) Max 4
This class is for the beginner who wants to finish their quilt top, or for anyone who has had trouble with borders that "wave" and finished quilts that don't lay flat. January 25th Monday 6:30-8:30pm

SCISSORS/KNIVES SHARPENING Friday March 26th 10-3pm Adam Wilfahrt Bring your dull scissors and knives while Adam is here and shop while you wait, or drop off your items and pick them up at your convenience. $6 for scissors and $3 for knives.

BLOCK OF THE MONTH 2 quilts are available for BOM projects... stop in to see samples. Instruction and help is available if you need it for any part of these projects... stop in or call 7 days a week!

"Back to Nature" Timeless Treasures queen size quilt. This is a 12 month program for $18/month. This includes fabric and pattern for each month's block and all fabrics for finishing the top in the last 3 months. Backing is also included.

"Village Green" Thimbleberries lap size quilt in 2 color waves. You can do this quilt even is you don't want to join the club. $10/month is for the pre-cut fabrics for the block and the pattern. There is a finish kit for borders and binding when you finish your 12 blocks.

Thimbleberries Club will meet the 3rd and 4th Thursdays at 6:30pm

Deep Valley Quilters, Mankato's quilt guild, meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm at UCC/1st Congregational Church at 150 Stadium Court. Join us for inspiration, instruction and fellowship. We have a fat quarter lottery, show & tell, a program and great snacks. Bring your own dinner and have an early dinner with other members at 5:30pm.

To hold your spot in a class you must pay at the time of registration. If the minimum number of students is not met 1 week before the class, it will be cancelled. A full refund will be made for cancellations made at least one week before the class will be held. We have 2 Bernina sewing machines available for use in our classes. If you would like to reserve one of these machines for a class, let us know when you sign up for a class.
