Jinny Beyer

Jinny Beyer began quilting in 1972 while living in India and Nepal. In 1978 her quilt "Ray of Light" took the top prize in the Great Americna Quilt Contest sponsored by Good Housekeeping and the U. S. Historical Society. From there quilting has led her into life as a professional quilter, author, lecturer, teacher, artist and fabric designer. Currently designing fabric for RJR fabrics, Jinny lives just outside Washington D.C. where she enjoys her garden, which was designed and laid out just like a medallion quilt.
